Dominika Kuna

Dominika Kuna is a Lecturer at SWPS University's Faculty of Law in Warsaw, affiliated with the Department of Public and International Law and the Center for the Study of History and Justice. She holds a Master's in Law and Administration (University of Warsaw, 2022), a Master's in Philosophy (University of Warsaw, 2020), and certificates from the British Law Centre, Baku State University, and Taras Shevchenko National University.

Her research focuses on:

• Family law and children's legal status
• Child subjectivity in legal systems
• Civil litigation and constitutional law
• Protection of family life and human rights

She received notable awards:

• Minister of Education Scholarship (2021/2022)
• Female Business Leaders Academy Scholarship
• CSR Ambassador Scholarship

Kuna serves as SWPS University's Ombudsman for the Protection of Minors (since 2024) and is a judicial assistant at Warsaw's Court of Appeal. She co-organized major conferences including the Child in the Proceedings Congress and contributes to the Family Law Codification Commission.
