Dmitry Shatskiy

Dmitry Shatskiy is a PhD student (Promovendus) in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Enzymology department and the Groningen Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology group. His research focuses on molecular biology, biochemistry, and microbiology, with a specialization in bacterial antagonism mechanisms and structural analysis of biomolecular complexes.

Recent Publications: His studies include the structural characterization of a type VI secretion system toxin involved in bacterial antagonism and the F-tractin-F-actin complex’s role in cytoskeletal organization. These works highlight his expertise in interdisciplinary research bridging microbiology and structural biology.
