Dr. Alexander Belyy is an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen’s Faculty of Science and Engineering, affiliated with the Enzymology group at the Groningen Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology Institute (GBSB). His research focuses on structural biochemistry of bacterial proteins and toxins, particularly their interactions with the actin cytoskeleton, using cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) to elucidate molecular mechanisms.
