Divya Sivaramakrishnan is a Chancellor's Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, affiliated with the Scottish Collaboration for Public Health Research and Policy (SCPHRP) within the Nursing Studies department of the School of Health in Social Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh's Physical Activity for Health Centre, where she developed a yoga intervention for older adults.
Her research focuses on public health intervention design and evaluation, particularly in healthy ageing, physical activity promotion, and reducing sedentary behavior. Current projects include investigating ageism and age norms in urban India with collaborators at ISEC, Bangalore, and developing interventions to address sedentary behavior in remote work environments.
