Dimitrios Panagos

Dimitrios Panagos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland. His research focuses on contemporary political philosophy, Aboriginal politics, identity politics, and resource management governance. He holds a PhD from Queen's University, along with BA and MA degrees from the University of Waterloo.

His most recent articles analyze the Plan Nord project in Quebec, media framing of Indigenous protests, and UNDRIP implementation.

He has advised on policy changes in Ontario's mining sector and contributed to debates on constitutional frameworks affecting Aboriginal rights. Collaborative research projects include partnerships with First Nations communities and interdisciplinary teams addressing resource governance challenges.
