Dilip Soman is Canada Research Chair in Behavioural Science and Economics at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, where he directs the Behavioural Economics in Action Research Centre. His research examines decision-making architectures in consumer finance, public policy, and digital marketing environments.
Research Focus: Soman investigates behavioral interventions in retirement savings, financial decision-making under simplification, and personalized nudges in educational contexts. His work integrates experimental methods with field applications to test behavioral theories in real-world settings.
