Dietmar W. Winkler

Dietmar W. Winkler is a University Professor of Patristics and Church History at the University of Salzburg, where he serves as Dean of the Faculty of Catholic Theology. He is the founding director of the Center for the Study of Eastern Christianity (ZECO) and holds prominent positions including membership in the European Academy of Sciences and Arts and consultancy with the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.
