Dr. Diana Elliott is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Human Services and Psychology at Belmont Abbey College. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Biola University, an M.S. in Human Services from Purdue University, and multiple other advanced degrees. Her expertise spans Interpersonal Violence, the Integration of Christianity and Psychology, and Clinical Psychology. Dr. Elliott teaches courses such as Ethical and Professional Issues in Human Services, Counseling Psychology of Trauma, and Forensic Psychology. Her research focuses on topics like the impact of technology in classrooms, the psychological effects of religious practices, and trauma-related studies. Notable work includes examining cellphone usage's cognitive effects and correlating spiritual practices with psychological well-being. She actively presents at conferences such as the Christian Association for Psychological Studies and the Association for Psychological Science.
