Emma Elliott is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Learning Sciences & Human Development at the University of Washington's College of Education. She is also an Affiliate Faculty member at the Banks Center for Educational Justice.

- Master of Social Work in Children, Youth, and Families
- M.Ed. in Educational Psychology
Dr. Elliott's research focuses on the intersections of culture, learning, and human development through land-based and Indigenous methodologies. Her work emphasizes trauma recovery, social-emotional issues, and multicultural education among Indigenous children and youth.
Her publications highlight collaborative approaches to Indigenous relationality, suicide prevention in Alaska Native and American Indian communities, and culturally grounded interventions. Recent works explore LOPI (Learning by Observing and Pitching In) frameworks, Indigenous language reclamation, and pandemic resilience strategies.
