Dharman Jeyasingham

Dharman Jeyasingham is a Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Manchester, Department of Social Work. He is affiliated with the Christabel Pankhurst Institute and the Digital Futures research beacon. His research focuses on race and sexuality in social work education, digital practices in child and family social work, and queer theory in public spaces.

His work includes an ESRC-funded project on agile working in children’s safeguarding services, examining how digital tools and remote work practices impact social workers and families. His research also explores the intersection of ethnicity, sexuality, and aging in LGBTQ+ communities, as well as counter-mapping methodologies in social work education.
