Dr Rebecca Pedley is a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester's Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the same institution and a first-class BSc in Psychology. Her work focuses on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), mental health literacy, and mixed-methods research. She leads an RfPB-funded study investigating parental/carer support for children with OCD and contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being (SDG 3) and quality education (SDG 4).

Her articles analyze topics like antipsychotic medication impacts, OCD caregiver needs, and global mental health equity. Collaborations span institutions in Indonesia, the UK, and beyond. She has supervised datasets on physical health care planning and multicultural anxiety coping strategies.
Dr Pedley's work emphasizes translating research into practical interventions for vulnerable populations, particularly children and families affected by mental health challenges.
