Nina Dethloff is a Full Professor at the University of Bonn since 2001 and Director of the Institute for German, European and International Family Law since 2003. She serves as a Fellow at the Käte Hamburger Centre 'Law as Culture' since 2012.

Research Interests
Her scholarship focuses on Family Law, Private International Law, Comparative Law, Legal Unification, and Competition Law. Her research often addresses transnational legal frameworks and conflicts in family matters.
