Dennis Liu is a Lecturer at the Department of Software Systems & Cybersecurity, Monash University. He holds a PhD, MPhil, and BSc in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong, with over 15 years of experience in tertiary education and cybersecurity/blockchain training.

His research focuses on blockchain technologies, cybersecurity, and pedagogy. He has developed the first blockchain postgraduate program in Hong Kong and led teaching initiatives to enhance cybersecurity education through funded projects.
Recent publications highlight his work in blockchain applications for logistics security, RFID/NFC integration with digital twins, and blockchain pedagogy for IT practitioners and secondary students. His research also spans computational thinking education via competitive programming.
