Deniz Besiktepe

Dr. Deniz Besiktepe is an Assistant Professor at the School of Construction Management Technology, Purdue Polytechnic Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University (2021) and has over a decade of professional experience in construction and facilities management. Her research focuses on facilities management integration, decision-making models, sustainability in construction, and leveraging digital technologies like AI and digital twins for building maintenance. She serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Construction Education and Research and actively contributes to the Associated Schools of Construction (ASC).
