Anthony Sparkling is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Construction Management Technology at Purdue Polytechnic, Purdue University. He teaches courses in mechanical and electrical systems, electrical estimating, and electrical construction, blending his extensive industry experience with academic rigor.

His research focuses on organizational processes, knowledge management systems, workforce development, and construction education, with a particular emphasis on addressing skilled trades shortages in the U.S. construction industry. Recent publications highlight applications of BIM interoperability, virtual reality in pedagogy, and policy impacts on electrical contracting.
