Jiansong Zhang

Dr. Jiansong Zhang is an Associate Professor in the School of Construction Management Technology at Purdue University's Purdue Polytechnic Institute. He specializes in advanced technologies for construction engineering and management, focusing on BIM, AI, VR, and robotics. His work bridges computational methods with construction practices to enhance automation, sustainability, and interoperability.

Research Interests: Dr. Zhang’s research leverages AI (NLP, ML), robotics, and BIM to address challenges in construction automation, sustainable infrastructure, and code compliance. Key areas include invariant signatures for BIM interoperability, automated code compliance checking, and robotic systems for off-site construction.
