Denis Chabault is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor of Management Sciences at the University of Paris-Saclay, affiliated with the Jean Monnet Faculty. He holds the MCF HDR academic title and is a researcher at the RITM laboratory. His work focuses on spatial strategy, innovation ecosystems, and digital transformation within organizations. He co-heads the AIMS Research Group on 'Strategies, Spaces and Territories' and actively participates in multiple academic associations including the International Association of Strategic Management and the AFNOR think tank.
His research explores governance of networks, cluster dynamics, and the interplay between spatial mobility and organizational structures. Notable contributions include studies on managerial innovation in collaborative contexts, regulatory balance in public policies, and talent management within innovation clusters. He has led grants such as the Performance INnovation and Learning in Territorialized Networks Project (2011-2012) and the Observatory of PMO Management Practices (2008-2010).
Publications highlight themes like LEGO® Serious Play® method applications, proximity effects in innovation, and territorial gastronomy clusters. His work bridges strategic theory with practical managerial challenges, emphasizing participatory methods and institutional dynamics. He teaches courses on strategic management, cluster governance, and innovation at both M1/M2 levels.
Chabault collaborates with industry and policy institutions, contributing to standards like the 'innovation management' norm. His academic service includes leading the Master 1 Strategy and International Management program at Paris-Saclay University.
