Deborah Helsing is a Lecturer on Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), specializing in adult development and Immunity to Change. She directs Minds at Work, an organization supporting personal and organizational change initiatives. Helsing holds an Ed.D. from HGSE (2003) and an Ed.M. from the University of Michigan (1991), complemented by a B.A. in English from Grinnell College.
Her research focuses on leadership development, organizational change, and overcoming resistance to change through methodologies like the Immunity to Change framework. Key publications include An Everyone Culture (2016) and Change Leadership (2006), exploring developmental organizational models and school transformation strategies.
