Dr. Deb Reisinger-French holds key academic positions at Duke University:

- Associate Director of the Markets and Management Studies Program
- Director of Duke’s Language Outreach Initiatives
Her research centers on Language for Specific Purposes (LSP), particularly business French and professional language training. As lead author of the advanced textbook Affaires globales: S’engager dans le monde professionnel en francais, niveau avancé (Georgetown University Press, 2021), she develops curricula for professional French contexts. Current work investigates LSP exchanges in virtual and study-away environments, bridging language proficiency with disciplinary expertise to enhance real-world application.
