Dr. Dawn Llewellyn is an Associate Professor of Religion and Gender at the University of Chester's Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a doctorate in Religious Studies from Lancaster University, following undergraduate studies in Philosophy and Systematic Theology at the University of Edinburgh and an MA in Women's Studies at Lancaster University. Her research focuses on religion, gender, and feminist methodologies, particularly examining contemporary Christianity, motherhood, and voluntary childlessness. She co-founded the Bloomsbury Series in Religion, Gender, and Sexuality and edited the 2024 Bloomsbury Handbook of Religion, Gender, and Sexuality.
