Davide Riserbato is a Lecturer in History of Medieval Philosophy at the Faculty of Theology in Lugano (affiliated with the University of Italian Switzerland) and a Lecturer in Theology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. His academic work bridges theology and philosophy, with a focus on Franciscan medieval thinkers like Duns Scoto and William Alnwick.

He has contributed to understanding the practical-spiritual dimension of theology in Franciscan tradition, particularly through works like Pietro Aureolo's Scriptum and Reportatio. His articles explore how medieval thinkers navigated the speculative/practical divide, emphasizing affective knowledge.
