Dr David Thompson is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Wolverhampton's Faculty of Education, Health, and Wellbeing. His academic career spans roles including Senior Lecturer (2007-2019) and extensive research supervision at all levels of study. His work focuses on widening participation, adult learning, social inclusion, and the history of education, emphasizing the interplay between higher education practice, policy, and theory.
