David Solans Roa is a Lecturer in Geotechnics at the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Imperial College London. His expertise includes numerical modeling of geotechnical infrastructure under static and seismic loading conditions.

Dr. Solans has a professional background in both academia and industry. After eight years of working in Chilean engineering firms (IDIEM and Arcadis Chile) as a project engineer and geotechnical leader, he transitioned to academia at Imperial College London.
