David Sabiston is Associate Professor in the Department of Policy Studies at Mount Royal University. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Ottawa (1996) and previously taught at Laurentian University. His research examines international economic systems and pedagogical approaches to economics education.
Teaching and research focuses on:
- International trade and finance systems
- Curriculum development for economics education
- Blended and online learning methodologies
- Principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics
As educational consultant for Lyryx Learning Inc., he contributes to economics textbook development. Co-author of principles-level economics textbooks published by McGraw-Hill Ryerson. Teaches across multiple formats including face-to-face, blended, and online courses.
