David Park

David Park is a Professor of Communication and Chair of Cinema Studies at Lake Forest College. He holds a PhD and MA from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Northwestern University. His research focuses on mass communication theories, new media, cultural authority, and media history. Park has authored or edited over 30 books and articles, including works on Pierre Bourdieu’s influence on media theory and the long history of new media technologies.
