David Marshall Miller is a Professor of Philosophy at Auburn University, specializing in the history and philosophy of science. He earned his PhD in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and has held teaching positions at Yale, Duke, Emory, and Iowa State universities. His research focuses on the origins of modern science during the Scientific Revolution, emphasizing the structure of scientific theories and the intellectual norms of early modern scientific thought.
