Jeffrey Miller is an Associate Professor of English at Montclair State University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. His research focuses on Renaissance and early modern literature, theology, and interdisciplinary studies, emphasizing the dynamic role of the writing process in shaping authors' works and broader cultural movements. He holds an A.B. from Princeton University and a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford.
Dr. Miller's current projects include three book manuscripts: Signifying Shadows: Biblical Typology and Its Aftermath in the Early Modern Period, Untypical Significance: Milton, Early Modern Typology, and the Writer’s Mind at Work, and The King James Bible’s Earliest Known Draft. He also co-edits volumes on the King James Version Study Bible and a collection of essays by precarious scholars.
