David M. Waisman

David M. Waisman is a Professor in the Departments of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Pathology at Dalhousie University, Canada. He holds the Canada Research Chair in Cancer Research and has been a department member since 2006. His research focuses on mechanisms of tumor growth, invasiveness, and metastasis, particularly investigating the role of S100A10 in regulating plasmin activity and macrophage migration to tumor sites. His work bridges cancer biology, proteolysis, and vascular biology.
