David Lindeman is an affiliated faculty member at the University of California, Berkeley. He currently serves as director of UC Berkeley's CITRIS Health Initiative and director of the Center for Technology and Aging (supported by the SCAN Foundation). He also co-directs the Center for Innovation and Technology in Public Health. Previously, he was founder/director of the Mather LifeWays Institute on Aging and held roles as associate professor of health policy at Rush University Medical Center and co-director of UC Davis' Alzheimer's Disease Center.
Education: DSW (Doctor of Social Welfare, 1987) and MSW (Master of Social Work, 1980) from UC Berkeley's School of Social Welfare.
His research focuses on leveraging technology to improve aging services, public health systems, and Alzheimer's care through applied research and demonstration projects. He has extensive experience in translating evidence-based practices into scalable programs.
Labs/Teams: Directs multiple interdisciplinary initiatives at CITRIS and collaborates across academic and community organizations to advance health innovation.
