David Leone Suber is a Departmental Lecturer in Criminology at the University of Oxford's Centre for Criminology, specializing in organized crime, migration dynamics, and border enforcement strategies. He holds a PhD from the UCL Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science, where his research focused on migrant smuggling groups' adaptation to border violence and police corruption through ethnographic fieldwork across West Asia, North Africa, and the Balkans.
