David Judkins is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Houston, where he has taught for over thirty years. His expertise lies in Shakespeare, Renaissance Literature, Postcolonial Literature, and Travel Literature. He has contributed to the University of Pittsburgh's study abroad program, Semester at Sea, and authored two books: Ben Jonson's Non-Dramatic Works: A Reference Guide and An Astute Student's Guide to Study Abroad. His teaching and research focus on early modern travel accounts and their role in shaping English national identity.
