David J. Recca is a lecturer at the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, SUNY, where he directs the Purchase Chorus and Purchase Chamber Singers, and teaches music history, theory, ear training, and conducting. He also serves as Artistic Director of the New York City Master Chorale and Assistant Music Director of the New Amsterdam Singers, prominent groups in Manhattan's choral scene.
