David Heslop

David Heslop is an Associate Professor and Research Fellow at the Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES), Australian National University. His expertise lies in palaeomagnetism and rock magnetism, with a focus on developing statistical methods for climate and geological datasets. He holds a PhD in Geophysics from Liverpool University and a BSc (Hons) from Durham University. His research spans climate sensitivity estimation, paleomagnetic field modeling, and applications of rock magnetism to environmental challenges like reducing fossil fuel use in steel production.
