David Haines is a Senior Lecturer in Visual Art at Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney. He holds a BA(VA) from UNSW and a PhD from the University of Sydney. His research focuses on interdisciplinary practices blending installation art, sound performance, and aroma chemistry, often exploring unseen energies like cosmic rays and electromagnetic fields. Collaborations with Joyce Hinterding are central to his work, producing immersive installations exhibited globally.
