David Grubbs is a Distinguished Professor at the Conservatory of Music, Brooklyn College, and a prominent figure in Music Technology, Sonic Arts, and Interdisciplinary Collaboration. He has released fifteen solo albums and appeared on over 200 commercial releases, blending Avant-garde Music, Sound Installation, and Experimental Composition.

Grubbs' research spans Music Technology, Musicology, and Sonic Arts, with a focus on Interdisciplinary Collaboration with artists like Anthony McCall and poets like Susan Howe. His creative work includes Sound Installation, Electroacoustic Composition, and Avant-garde Performance.
