David Golove is the Hiller Family Foundation Professor of Law at New York University School of Law. His research focuses on constitutional law of foreign affairs, international law, and legal history. He received his BA from UC Berkeley (1979), JD from UC Berkeley School of Law (1982), and LLM from Yale Law School (1993). Golove is renowned for his seminal work on treaty-making power and nationalist constitutional foundations. He teaches courses on constitutional theory, national security law, federal courts, and legal history. Recent publications include analyses of early American constitutionalism and modern security policy debates.
