David Fisher

David Fisher is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry and Environmental Science at NJIT, serving as Director of the FEPAC-accredited Forensic Science Program. He has over 20 years of forensic experience, including 17 years as a Criminalist at the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner, specializing in DNA typing and expert witness testimony. Previously, he held roles as Professor of Practice at NJIT (2019–2021) and worked with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team.
