David Fisher is an Adjunct Professor at Yeshiva College, Yeshiva University, and a Criminalist Supervisor in the Department of Forensic Biology at the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner. With over 16 years of experience in forensic biology and DNA typing, he specializes in evaluating new DNA methodologies and supervises a research team in forensic technology validation. He holds an MS in Forensic Science from John Jay College (CUNY) and a BS in Biochemistry & Cell Biology from UC San Diego.

His research interests focus on advancing DNA testing technologies and forensic methodologies. Fisher has testified as an expert witness over 40 times in criminal cases, including homicides and sexual assaults. His certifications include Fellowships from the American Board of Criminalistics and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. He currently teaches Introduction to Forensic Biology at Yeshiva College.
