David Eisenbud

David Eisenbud is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley, and a former Director of the Simons Laufer Mathematical Sciences Institute (SLMath, formerly MSRI). He holds academic affiliations at UC Berkeley and SLMath, where he contributed to facility expansions and endowment growth. His roles include Senate Faculty and leadership in organizations like the American Mathematical Society and the Simons Foundation.
