David Cook is a Professor of Practice at the C. T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston, where he serves as Director of the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship (WCE). He is actively involved in mentoring, program development, and guiding student entrepreneurs through one of the nation's top-ranked undergraduate entrepreneurship programs.
His research and professional interests center on entrepreneurship, business development, sales, marketing, leadership, and technology commercialization. With decades of industry experience in consumer packaged goods and sales training, he brings real-world insight into the classroom and student programs. His work emphasizes experiential learning, strategic planning, and mentoring.
Through the WCE, he has helped over 500 student-led businesses get started and has engaged hundreds of external mentors and coaches. The program has been nationally recognized by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneurship Magazine, ranking as high as #1 multiple times.
