Bill Bobbora is an Adjunct Professor at the C. T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston, where he has been actively involved with the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship and the Commercial Banking program for over a decade. He serves as Chief Banking Officer at Third Coast Bank and brings over 30 years of corporate finance and banking experience to his academic role.
His educational background includes an MBA from the University of Texas and a BA in Psychology from the University of Nebraska. His deep industry expertise spans building middle-market banking platforms, private company investing, and leading corporate and investment banking divisions at institutions like Cadence Bank and Texas Commerce Bank.
Bill's research and professional interests focus on corporate finance, commercial banking, entrepreneurship, and leadership development. His career includes founding and scaling a private company to $55 million in revenue with over 120 employees, as well as advising numerous entrepreneurs on start-ups and business turnarounds.
He is actively engaged in student mentorship and serves on several advisory boards, including the Bauer Business School Advisory Board, the Commercial Banking Advisory Board at UH, and the Advance Team Advisory Board at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is also a co-founder of uwantgame, a mentoring and leadership organization.
