David Carter Dinielli is a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School and a Senior Policy Fellow at Yale’s Tobin Center for Economic Policy. His research focuses on antitrust frameworks for digital markets, anti-hate litigation, and LGBTQ+ rights advocacy. He holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (1994) and an A.B. from Harvard College (1990).
Previously, he served as Deputy Legal Director at the Southern Poverty Law Center (2010–2017), overseeing anti-hate and LGBTQ rights litigation. He also worked at Omidyar Network’s Responsible Technology group as Senior Advisor. His current roles involve developing competition policies to counter concentrated power in tech industries.
