Dr. David Bolden is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at Durham University, specializing in Mathematics Education. He holds a doctoral degree from Durham University, focusing on primary teachers' epistemological views of mathematics. His research emphasizes creativity in mathematics, the use of visual representations in teaching, and teacher epistemologies. He has led projects funded by the Nuffield Foundation (investigating visual representations in primary classrooms) and contributed to the Physical Activity and Wellbeing in Schools initiative.
