Dr David Bolden is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at Durham University, specializing in Mathematics Education. He holds a PhD from Durham University (2006), an MSc in Social Research, and a first degree from Newcastle University. His research focuses on creativity in mathematics, teacher epistemologies, and the use of visual representations in primary education. He leads a Nuffield Foundation-funded project on visual representations in primary math classrooms and collaborates on the Physical Activity and Wellbeing in Schools project.
