David Anderson

David M. Anderson is Professor of African History at the Global History & Culture Centre, University of Warwick, and Member of the Global Faculty at the GSSC (University of Cologne). His research focuses on eastern African history and politics, including colonial counter-insurgencies and contemporary political transformations. He serves as editor of the African Studies Series at Cambridge University Press and founding editor of the Journal of Eastern African Studies.
