Dr. Bethany Rebisz is a Lecturer in Historical Studies at the University of Bristol. She completed her PhD at the University of Reading and has taught at the University of Exeter. Her research focuses on the gendered dimensions of colonial counter-insurgency, particularly during the Mau Mau uprising in Kenya (1952-1960), and intersects with digital humanities and public history initiatives.
