Dr. David Alexander is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. He is also a scientist at the Cadham Provincial Laboratory. His research focuses on DNA sequencing-based approaches to study antimicrobial resistance, bacterial metabolism, and pathogen evolution, with applications in public health surveillance and diagnostic tool development.
