Dr. Daria Gaykalova is an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, specializing in head and neck cancer research. She holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Her laboratory investigates:
- Epigenetic regulation in cancer development
- HPV-related carcinogenesis mechanisms
- Chromatin structure and alternative splicing interactions
