Danielle Parker is a Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy at Hartpury University, joining in 2024. She is affiliated with the Department of Sport and is currently involved in validating the MSc Sports Therapy (conversion) programme. Prior to Hartpury, she held academic roles at the University of Gloucestershire and the University of Chichester, where she served as Course Leader for the MSc Sports Therapy.
Her research interests include exercise during pregnancy, post-partum rehabilitation, and the role of pain science in treatment. These areas reflect a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and women's health in sports therapy. Her teaching spans core modules such as Functional Anatomy and Biomechanics, Joint Mobilisations, Screening and Prevention, and Sports Conditioning and Return to Play.
Danielle's recent scholarly outputs focus on pedagogical innovation, particularly in student feedback and curriculum design. Her work emphasizes data visualization, centered approaches to learning, and enhancing student engagement through structured feedback systems.
