Danielle La Londe is an Associate Professor of Classics and Chair of the Classical Studies Program at Centre College. She holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from New York University. Her research focuses on political thought in Latin poetry from the late Republic to the reign of Nero. She teaches Latin language and literature, courses on classical antiquity (including Pompeii and classical reception in film), and leads CentreTerm courses such as the 2017 trip to Italy exploring ancient Rome.
